Who is MBE

Today, MBE Worldwide – of which Mail Boxes Etc. is a part – has more than 2600 centres in more than 52 countries. The total annual turnover is more than €1 billion. But this didn’t happen right away.

Here is a brief history of MBE:

1980

Based in San Diego, California.

1993

Graziano Fiorello becomes the main MBE franchisee in Italy and opens the first Italian MBE centre.

2000

In Italy, around 300 MBE centers are now open throughout the country. This is a market presence in more than 75% of Italian provinces. Graziano Fiorello becomes the most successful MBE master franchisee in the world.

2000 — 2005

MBE Italy acquires a master franchise in Spain, Austria and Germany. Soon, the network brings together more than 600 MBE centres in all four countries.

2009

Now named MBE Worldwide, this subsidiary owned by the Fiorelli family acquires Mail Boxes Etc. Thus, MBE WorldWide began to own all the trademarks, types of businesses and all major franchise contracts outside the United States and Canada.

2010

Through the acquisitions made by MBE Worldwide, the network now covers a total of 1370 centers in more than 30 countries. The total network turnover is more than €330 million.

2013

MBE Italy celebrates its 20th anniversary.

2015

The MBE service portfolio now includes graphic design and printing, office products, e-commerce delivery solutions and a line of print products called MBE Print.

2016

The network reaches 1600 centers on four continents. The total network turnover exceeds €400 million.

2017

MBE acquires two US companies – PostNet International Franchise and AlphaGraphics Inc. The network now has a total of 2600 centres, including about 600 in the United States and 2000 in 46 other countries around the world.

2020

The MBE franchise network comes to Belarus.
